Martyn Brown

Team 17
Martyn Brown co-found Team17 in December 1990 and has remained Studio head ever since. Martyn oversaw Team17’s early rise to prominence producing a spate of chart-topping Amiga releases such as Alien Breed, Superfrog, Project-X and Body Blows, all of which were self published under the Team17 banner.
Martyn has enormous experience from all facets of development and publishing over the last 19 years, including helping to produce, manage and direct the evergreen ‘Worms’ franchise, which was first launched in 1995 and has shipped over 15m units in that time and still appears in the Xbox Live top 5, some 2 years on.
Over the last few years, Martyn has focused primarily on business strategy and business development at Team17 whereby he’s overseen the companies’ focus shift to digital platforms and a return to self publishing after a ten year absence. As a result, Team17 are due to deliver approximately 10 digital SKU’s in 2009 across 5 different platforms, all IP owned and self-published by Team17 in partnership with major platform holders.
