Steve Burke

Steve studied at King’s College London for his Bachelor of Music Degree. At the same time he also studied piano, conducting, and orchestration at the Royal Academy of Music, and ethnomusicology at the School of Oriental and African Studies. Wanting to focus on composing music for film and games, he was accepted on to the postgraduate Composition course at the Royal College of Music, and received his Masters Degree (MMus RCM) in 1998. After leaving college he worked as an assistant to a film and television composer in London for two years before taking up an offer to join the in-house Music Department at Rare in early 2001. Since starting at Rare he has worked as a Composer and Sound Designer on projects such as Kameo (www.KameoSoundtrack), Viva Pinata, Jetpac Refuelled, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and many other projects. www.myspace.com/SteveBurkeOnline
