Mark Morris
Managing Director
Introversion Software Ltd
Mark Morris is the Managing Director of Introversion Software Ltd. To date, Mark has lead the team in producing four games that have been distributed globally. Mark is responsible for business strategy, personnel and also maintains strategic oversight of all core projects.
Mark founded Introversion with two colleagues (Thomas Arundel and Chris Delay) from University after they had all graduated in 2001. At this point they had a written a computer hacking simulation (Uplink), but had no experience of the games industry or video games publishing in general.
Spurred by the success of Uplink, the team went on to develop a retro-strategy game (Darwinia) which achieved wide-scale critical acclaim and enabled development of the Nuclear War strategy game - DEFCON. DEFCON was Introversion's most successful title to date and has enabled Introversion to grow from a university pipe dream to a fully fledged corporation operating in a global market space, employing ten people and generating over $3M in game sales.
